What Causes Mold Sticking Phenomenon of Desulfurization Gyps

I believe that many users of desulfurization gypsum briquette machine have encountered such a situation that the machine has a serious mold sticking problem, thus most of the finished products are broken into two halves. Then what causes the machine mold sticking problem? 1. The surface of roller skin is not smooth. After fashioning, roller skin will go through heat treatment, thereby increasing its hardness and wear resistance, but its surface will form a thin oxide layer. The roller skin will become smooth only after using for a period of time. In this way, the sticking phenomenon will disappear. 2. The material is not distributed evenly. Generally the material is a mixture of wet and dry gypsum, and after they are mixed together, the machine will press the material into briquettes. The uneven mixing of the material or high moisture content will lead to mold sticking. 3. The briquette shape is designed unreasonably. For desulfurization gypsum briquette machine, we recommend an oval shape. The briquette length is typically 45-55 mm and the thickness is half of briquette diameter. While the square or pillow shape has a larger surface area, which will increase the friction coefficient with roller skin, therefore making it more difficult to demold.
