The Impact of Particle Size of Raw Material on Briquette Machine

Among various factors that affect the shaping effect of briquette machinethe material itself may exert more influence. In pressing coal powder, for example, we need pay attention to the moisture content of raw material and material-binder ratio. In addition, the particle size of raw material is another key point affecting the briquetting effect.
        Here we need to emphasize that the particle size of the material should be as small as possible. Why is that?
1. Raw material with large size are not easy to be shaped.
        Observing from daily life, we clearly know that small-sized material are easy to gather together, while large-sized are not. From a physical point of view, small- sized material has little clearance among each other, whereas large particle size has much clearance. Therefore, before to be pressed by briquette machine, the material must be crushed and grinded.
2. Large-sized material may cause damage to the equipment.
        When pressing large-sized material, it may increase the wearing rate of roller skin, and sometimes hard impurities mixed in the material will damage the roller skin.
        Besides, the material particle size will directly influence the briquettes strength and quality. The loose and crumbly briquettes are obviously not the desired products.In a word, when using briquette machine, we should take different factors into consideration so as to produce high-quality products.
